The final NBA game of the Sunday, November 6 schedule will take place between two conference rivals in Los Angeles, and here you can read the best Jazz vs. Clippers betting pick and odds.

Los Angeles is looking for the fourth consecutive win when they welcome Utah at Crypto.com Arena. The Clippers are 5-point favorites on Bovada Sportsbook, while the total is set at 225.5 points. These Western Conference rivals have met three times last season, and the Jazz won that series 2-1.

Jazz keep on marching above expectations

The Utah Jazz (7-3, 7-3-0 ATS) continued to impress and it’s safe to say that they are one of the most pleasant surprises early in the season, even though many thought they will be tanking this year. Utah beat Memphis twice before losing to the Dallas Mavericks on the road but responded with a 130-116 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz in this win with a double-double of 27 points and game-high 13 rebounds, along with four assists. Jordan Clarkson followed him with 20 points and seven boards, Kelly Olynyk and Collin Sexton combined for 35 points, eight rebounds, and six dimes, while Mike Conley posted a double-double of 15 points and game-high ten dishes.

SF Leandro Bolmaro has entered into the league’s health and safety protocols, and he is without a definitive timetable for recovery.

Clippers won the third game in a row

The Los Angeles Clippers (5-4, 3-6-0 ATS) bounced back from a poor run of four straight defeats with three consecutive wins. After beating the Houston Rockets in back-to-back tilts, the Clippers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 113-106 on the road. Now, the Clippers will open their four-game home stand with this game against Utah and are hoping for a few more wins.

Paul George led the Clippers with 32 points and game-high six assists. Ivica Zubac recorded a double-double of 17 points and game-high 15 rebounds, along with game-high four blocks, John Wall and Reggie Jackson combined for 29 points and 11 dimes, while Marcus Morris had 11 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

SF Kawhi Leonard is out of the lineup with stiffness in his right knee, and it is uncertain when he will return to the court. SF Robert Covington (quarantine) is also unavailable to play on Sunday against Utah, while Luke Kennard (chest) is questionable.

Trends:

Utah:

  • 4-0 ATS in the last four games overall
  • 5-1 ATS in the last six games following an ATS win
  • 5-2 ATS in the last seven games playing on one day of rest

Los Angeles:

  • 2-6 ATS in the last eight games overall
  • 2-10 ATS in the last 12 games vs. a team with a winning straight-up record

Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers Pick

The Clippers did win the last three games, but in all honesty, two of those wins came against the worst teams in the NBA – Houston Rockets, so it’s not going to be easy against the Jazz. Utah is surprisingly one of the best teams in the league right now and has the 4th best offense that averages 117.0 points per game. On the other hand, the Clippers are the least efficient team in the league with just 102.3 ppg, but they do have the 3rd best defense that allows 106.2 ppg. Los Angeles will be without Leonard and Ro-Co, while Kennard is questionable, which is an advantage for the visitors, so I am backing them to cover. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jazz get a win in this one.

Pick: Take the Jazz at +6.5 (-133)

The Total

The Clippers are the worst when it comes to offensive rating with 103.5 points per 100 possessions, while the Jazz are 8th in this segment. Los Angeles is better in defensive rating with 107.4 points allowed, and given that both teams are below average in pace, I don’t expect to see a high-scoring affair here. Under is 5-2 in the Jazz’s last seven overall; Under is 15-6 in Utah’s previous 21 road games, Under is 4-0 in the Clippers’ last four overall, while Under is 6-1 in Los Angeles’ previous seven home games.

Pick: Go Under 227.5 (-130)
