We have four NBA games on the schedule for Sunday, November 6, including this inter-conference clash in Memphis, and here you can check out the best Wizards vs. Grizzlies betting pick and odds.

Memphis is hoping for the third straight win when they host Washington at FedEx Forum. The Grizzlies are -7.5 favorites on BetDSI Sportsbook, while the total is set at 228 points. These inter-conference rivals have faced twice last season, and that series was tied at 1-1.

Wizards were dismantled by the Nets at home

The Washington Wizards (4-5, 3-5-1 ATS) snapped a three-game losing skid with a shocking 121-111 road win over the Philadelphia 76ers. However, the Wizards disappointed in the next game against the weakened Brooklyn Nets at home and lost 128-86, scoring a season-low and allowing a season-high along the way.

Washington shot just 36.1% from the floor and 23.5% from beyond the arc opposite Brooklyn’s 50%. The visitors were much better in assists (32-18), blocks (7-3), and steals (8-4). Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 20 points and two steals. Kyle Kuzma added 19 points and five rebounds, while Kristaps Porzingis posted a double-double of 14 points and game-high ten boards.

PG Delon Wright is sidelined with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, and he will remain out of the lineup for six to eight weeks.

Grizzlies destroyed the Hornets at home

The Memphis Grizzlies (6-3, 3-6-0 ATS) returned home from a four-game road trip on which they recorded two wins and two losses and destroyed the Charlotte Hornets 130-99, allowing season-low points in the process. Memphis kept the Hornets to 38.4% from the field and 29.6% from downtown, while the hosts dominated in both rebounds (60-41) and assists (34-22).

The Grizzlies had even eight players in double digits. Dillon Brooks led the bunch with 23 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Desmond Bane had 19 points and six boards, Steven Adams recorded a double-double of 13 points and game-high 19 rebounds, along with a pair of blocks and steals, while Ja Morant also posted a double-double of 12 points and game-high 11 assists with four boards.

SF Ziaire Williams (knee), SG Danny Green (knee), and PF Jaren Jackson Jr. (foot) are out indefinitely and will not meet the Wizards on Sunday.

Trends:

Washington:

  • 5-11 ATS in the last 16 road games
  • 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game

Memphis:

  • 23-7 ATS in the last 30 home games
  • 20-7 ATS in the last 27 games vs. a team with a losing straight-up record

Washington Wizards vs. Memphis Grizzlies Pick

Memphis is still unbeaten at home this season and I think it’s going to stay that way after this game on Sunday. Although I believe the Wizards will show a much better performance than they displayed against Brooklyn, the Grizzlies are a more serious team and currently have the best offense in the NBA that averages 118.7 points per game. On the other hand, Washington has just the 27th offense with 108.0 ppg, and there is no way the Wizards are going to outscore the Grizzlies here. Ja Morant, who scored only 12 points in the last game, is a player to watch against Washington, and I am backing him to lead his team with a 25+ point display.

Pick: Take the Grizzlies at -6.5 (-130)

The Total

The Grizzlies are 3rd in offensive rating with 116.4 points per 100 possessions, and even though Washington is 22nd with 109.7, both defenses are not great in this segment and are not in the top 20 in defensive rating. The Wizards are playing a bit slower basketball than the last year, but I still expect a high-scoring affair on Sunday. Over is 4-0 in the Grizzlies’ last four home games, while Over is 5-1 in Memphis’ previous six games following a straight-up win.

Pick: Go Over 226.5 points (-130)
