UFC is set to return to Mexico City this weekend and this will be the sixth time that the organization has gone down to Mexico. Like with previous international events, the UFC has done a great job of finding some of the best fighters from Mexico and Latin America to fight this weekend.

Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval are set to meet up for a second time as the main event this weekend, but there are other fights that stand out as well. Here is a look at some of the top fights to wager on at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City.

Battle of the Brandons

The flyweight class is going to be taking center stage on Saturday night as Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval are meeting up for the second time. Moreno won with a first round stoppage in the first matchup back in 2020, and that will have Royval looking for revenge.

This fight is going to be fought on home soil for Moreno, and he is also the clear betting favorite in this matchup at -250. Many in the sport believe that he should be on a path to getting another title shot, but that hasn’t happened yet.

Betting on Royval at +210 to come up with an upset is an interesting thought, but he’s just not going to be able to get it done. This is a bout in which the home crowd could influence the outcome as Moreno will come away with a win.

Five Round Co-Main

The co-main event set to be a five round special event as Yair Rodriguez is going to be facing off with Brian Ortega. The fact that this event could go five rounds will add some extra excitement, but it’s also going to lead to a great betting opportunity.

Rodriguez is the betting favorite in this bout at -150, while the betting odds for Ortega are set at +130. That shows just how competitive this fight is going to be, and it will be Ortega that should have plenty of support in this one.

Both fighters are going to be trying to get this fight to match their style, and that will be extremely important early on. There is more value in betting on Ortega on Saturday night, and he will find a way to win.

Big Upset Brewing

Trying to find the biggest upset should be your main goal when trying to bet on UFC Fight Night, and there will be a good option on the main card this weekend. Ricky Turcios will face off against Raul Rosas Jr., and the odds for this one stand out right away.

Turcios is the betting favorite at +212, while Rosas Jr. is coming into this fight as the clear favorite at -247. The odds for this fight have felt off ever since they were released as Turcios isn’t getting much respect.

Rosas has been wildly inconsistent during this career, and Turcios has gone 13-3 so far in the Octagon. There is a chance to get a ton of value with this bout on the main card and that is how this battle will play out.

Check Out the Preliminary Card

While much of the attention will be on the main card at UFC Fight Night, that does limit your betting opportunities a little bit. There are also going to be some great fights taking place earlier in the day, and that’s why you need to check out each matchup.

Don’t expect some massive upsets throughout the day, but simply betting on every favorite isn’t a good plan either. Check out each matchup closely to make the best overall decision.
