It wouldn’t be another weekend without some great UFC action, and this time that action is going to be coming from Atlantic City, New Jersey. This city has been home to some massive fights in the past, and that trend should continue with a loaded fight card this weekend.

There won’t be a belt handed out this weekend, but several of the fights are going to feature some top contenders in their respective weight class. That is going to lead to some incredible drama, and there will also be some great betting options available.

Here is a look at some of the top fights of the weekend, and the bets that should be made as well.

Blanchfield-Fiorot

The main event on Saturday night will feature Erin Blanchfield taking on Manon Fiorot in a huge clash between flyweight contenders. The winner of this bout will likely get a shot at a championship fight, although there are other aspects that could impact that.

Blanchfield is the betting favorite in this fight at -180, and she will also have the support of a home crowd. She has made it known that she is from New Jersey, and she could lock up a title fight by winning in front of family and friends.

Fiorot has yet to lose in the Octagon, and her most recent win put her on the path to getting a shot at the title. She’s still a bit unproven at just 6-0 in her career, but she has shown that she has some great skills.

This is going to be a battle that goes the distance, but betting on Blanchfield at -180 is the best betting option here.

Welterweights Ready to Battle

The co-main event on Saturday night will feature two welterweight fighters that don’t like to sit back and let the action come to them. Joaquin Buckley and Vicente Luque are both extremely aggressive fighters, and the odds suggest that they are almost equals as well.

Buckley is a slight underdog in this fight, event though his betting odds for this are set at -102. Luque won’t really have the pressure of being favored in this one as there’s not much of a difference in his odds at -118.

Both fighters are trying to stay on the path to fighting for a championship, and each fighter will be aggressive in this one. Luque has had a ton of time off though, and so going with Buckley at -102 is going to be the best option to explore.

Weidman/Silva Ready for Battle

A couple of fan favorites are going to meet up on the main card on Saturday night as Chris Weidman will be taking on Bruno Silva. Weidman will be in his second fight since a devastating leg injury more than a year ago, and he just hasn’t regained his top form.

Silva is another fighter that is looking to bounce back in a big way as he has lost five straight matchups. He is still someone that is well-known in the sport, and the odds at -260 suggest that he is going to end his losing streak in this one.

Weidman will figure things out again at some point, but going with Silva is the right course of action in this fight.
