Bantamweight Battle is Main Event

It is going to be Yadong Song facing off against Chris Gutierrez in the main event at UFC Fight Night, and both of these fighters are ranked in the Bantamweight Division. There are plenty of Fight Nights that don’t even have any ranked matchups, so this should set the stage for what will be a great night.

Song is coming into this bout as a big betting favorite at -335, while Gutierrez is currently sitting out there with odds set at +255. The odds favor this fight ending before all of the rounds are fought as well as the over/under is set at just 3.5

Fighting on a big stage is not a new thing for Song as he is now featured in his third straight bout. He hasn’t always been a fighter that ends fights before the final bell, but he does seem to be getting better as his career will go on.

Gutierrez is going to be doing everything that he can to drag this fight out, and that could potentially give him a chance to deliver a knockout blow. That strategy can make this fight interesting, but betting on Song at -355 is the only way to go in this matchup.

There are some weight classes that tend to get overlooked at times, and that is usually true about the light heavyweight division. That won’t be the case this weekend though as Anthony Smith is set to battle with Khalil Rountree Jr.

The odds for this bout are actually much closer than the main event, and that is also true when looking at the over/under for this matchup. Rountree is coming into this event as a favorite at -230, while Smith is sitting at +190.

Both of these fighters are going to be looking to end things right away, and neither fighter is known for their stamina. That will have both fighters taking some big blows as well, and there is a chance for an upset in this one.

This could end up being one of the biggest upsets of the night and going with Smith at +190 is the way to go in this game.

One Prelim Card Bet to Make

One great thing about any UFC Fight Night is that the preliminary card tends to feature a ton of up and coming fighters. That is going to be true in the bantamweight division this weekend as there are two women looking for a big win.

Rayanne dos Santos is coming into this bout with odds set at -165, and she will look to beat the underdog, Talita Alencar at +135. There will be plenty of kicks flying in this fight as that is how both women like to square off.

Alencar has the experience and talent to win this game, but the best bet to make is to take Rayanne dos Santos at -165 (at BetDSI) to pick up another impressive decision.
