The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took last weekend off to give everyone a bit of a rest, but there won’t be any resting this weekend. This UFC Fight Night isn’t going to be taking place in Las Vegas either as instead the action will be held in Austin, Texas.

One thing that you can always count on is the fact that the UFC always seems to deliver with some major battles. That should be the case yet again in Austin, and of course there are some clashes that are going to stand out above the rest.

Here is a look at some of the top fights of the night and a betting pick and prediction for each matchup.

You can bet on UFC Fight Night at BetUS!

Dariush-Tsarukyan in the Main Event

Starting with the final fight of the night is usually the way to go as this is the fight that is going to generate the most attention. It will be Beneil Dariush squaring off against Arman Tsarukyan in the main event, and this is a fight that probably won’t go the distance.

Tsarukyan is coming into this clash as the betting favorite at -285, and he is a fighter that has a history of ending fights early. Some of the top fighters tend to try to wait things out and win by a final score, but that’s not how he goes about things.

Dariush will be trying to last as long as he can in this clash, and he will be a fighter that is trying to win with points. That’s not a horrible strategy to employ, but the betting odds of +245 suggest that he just won’t be able to get that done.

Going with Dariush will provide more value if you are betting on this event, but that’s not where you should be focused for this clash. You will want to go with Dariush in Austin on Saturday night as he will pick up a big win in the lightweight division.

Figueiredo/Font Battling it Out

Another interesting fight on the main card is going to be a matchup between Deiveson Figueiredo and Rob Font. The betting odds for this matchup are extremely tight as Figueiredo has odds set at +122 while Font is next at -142.

This is another fight in which the odds suggest that it is going to end early as the over/under lines are set at just 2 ½ total rounds. You usually see a low over/under total in a fight in which the odds are more spread out, but these two fighters have been extremely competitive this season.

This is a bout in which you are going to want to bet with some value and going with the underdog is the way to go. Bet on Figueiredo to win this fight at +122 (at BetUS) is a way to score a big win during Fight Night.

Two Other Picks to Make

There are a couple of other bets to make during the main card fights at UFC Austin, and each fight is going to be a bit different. There aren’t a ton of big names set to battle it out this weekend, but some of these fights will impact the standings in some weight classes.

Sean Brady is set to take on Kelvin Gastelum in another fight on the main card this weekend, and this is another bout in which the odds are tight. Gastelum does appear to be a name to watch on the UFC circuit, but going with Brady at -120 is the smart play in this matchup.

If you are looking for a big underdog to bet on then look no further than Dustin Stoltzfus at +250 to win a fight on Saturday night.
