The 2023 NCAA football season has been terrific up to this point, and things should only get better in Week 9 and beyond. Now is the time in which paying attention to the conference races is even more important, and there are some leagues that are far from decided.
There are three Power 5 Conferences that look more tougher to call than the others this season, and those leagues would be the Big 12, Big Ten, and Pac-12. Here is a look at each of those conferences and the bets that you should consider making on each of the leagues.

Rematch Coming in the Big 12?
There are still a couple of teams standing in the Big 12 Conference race, but that is going to be changing as the season moves along. The top two teams in the regular season end up playing in the conference championship game, and there are two clear favorites in this league.
The Oklahoma Sooners are the top team in the league at this time, and they are currently the favorites to win the Big 12 Conference title at +100. Texas is the team with the second-best odds at +130, and their lone loss was to Oklahoma in conference action.
With respect to the other teams in the league, one of these teams is going to end up winning the Big 12 Conference, and it’s going to lead to a great rematch in the conference championship game.
Texas feels as if it should have won the first meeting of the year, and they will be ready if they get another chance. The Longhorns are the most complete team, and betting on them at +130 to win the Big 12 is the way to go.
Big Ten Comes Down to Big Game
The Big Ten Conference Championship Game will feature a team from the Big Ten East and Big Ten West Divisions. While that technically gives each division a chance to win the conference, this winner is going to come from the East Division.
Wisconsin is the favorite to win the Big Ten West Division, but the odds to win the conference for the Badgers are set at just +1200. While that may seem a bit disrespectful, it just speaks to how strong the teams from the East are.
Michigan is currently the favorite to win the Big Ten at -110 at Bookmaker, while Ohio State is next on the list at +160. The winner of their big rivalry game will represent the East in the title game, and it’s going to be Michigan.
The Wolverines are going to win the Big Ten Conference this season, and getting them at -110 right now is a great deal.
Pac-12 Still Wide Open
There has been a ton of intrigue surrounding the Pac-12 Conference this season, and the action on the field has been tremendous. It’s still way too early to call the winner of this conference, but now is the perfect time to make that call.
The Washington Huskies are the current favorites to win the Pac-12 Conference at +125, and they are leading the league at this point. Washington looks like a team that is unstoppable, but they can’t afford to take a weekend off.
Oregon (+250) and Oregon State (+500 at Bookmaker) are both still in the mix as well, and that is why this race is going to be so much fun to follow. The leaderboard can change at any time, and there is a ton of value in many of these betting lines.
Oregon still feels like the best overall team, and getting them at +500 to win the Pac-12 Conference is the right bet to make.
