The NFL action continues with Week 11 games on Sunday, November 20, and we have this inter-conference meeting in Baltimore, so feel free to read the best Panthers vs. Ravens betting pick and odds.

Baltimore is hoping for the fourth straight victory when they welcome Carolina at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens are 12-point favorites on BetOnline Sportsbook, while the total is set at 43.5 points. These inter-conference rivals will meet for the first time since 2018.

Panthers beat the falcons at home

The Carolina Panthers (3-7-0, 4-6-0 ATS) avoided the third defeat in a row with a 25-15 home win over the divisional foes Atlanta Falcons. Carolina controlled the game since the beginning and had a 13-3 lead at halftime. Atlanta did try to come back, but the Panthers didn’t let the visitors win and improve to a 5-5 record, making a situation in the NFC South quite interesting.

PJ Walker completed ten of 16 passes for 108 yards. D’Onta Foreman carried a load in this one as he finished the duel with a game-high 130 rushing yards and a touchdown on 31 attempts. Laviska Shenault Jr. also scored a rushing TD, while Terrace Marshall Jr. led the team with 43 receiving yards on one reception. Carolina recorded five sacks; Frankie Luvu and Marquis Haynes Sr. each got two, while Luvu had a game-high 12 tackles as well.

WR Andre Roberts (knee), QB PJ Walker (ankle), and QB Sam Darnold (ankle) are out indefinitely. WR Rashard Higgins (illness), DE Matt Ioannidis (calf), and S Juston Burris (concussion) are questionable to feature on Sunday against Baltimore.

Ravens are looking to stay at the top of the AFC North

The Baltimore Ravens (6-3-0, 4-4-1 ATS) responded to a tight road loss to the New York Giants with three straight wins. The most recent one came against the New Orleans Saints on the road, after which the Ravens went to a bye week and now will be fresh and ready to take on the Panthers this Sunday. Baltimore was a better team in a 27-13 victory over the Saints and dominated total yards (319-243), first downs (23-13), and possession (37:47-22:13).

Lamar Jackson completed 12 of 22 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown. He also added 82 rushing yards on 11 carries, but Kenyan Drake stole the show with 93 yards and two rushing TDs on 24 attempts. Isaiah Likely caught that lone TD pass from Jackson, which was his second receiving touchdown in many games. Defensively, Justin Houston registered a pair of sacks, while Marlon Humphrey led the Ravens with seven tackles.

DT Michael Pierce (biceps), S Marcus Williams (wrist), and WR Rashod Bateman (foot) are out indefinitely. RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) is questionable to take on the Panthers on Sunday.

Trends:

Carolina:

  • 6-18 ATS in the last 24 games overall
  • 1-7 ATS in the last eight road games
  • 1-6 ATS in the last seven games following an ATS win

Baltimore:

  • 7-2 ATS in the last nine home games vs. a team with a losing road record

Carolina Panthers vs. Baltimore Ravens Pick

The bye week perhaps killed momentum for the Ravens, who were on a three-game winning run before the break. However, I don’t think they will find it hard to beat the rebuilding Panthers on Sunday. Baltimore has a top 5 offense that averages 26.1 points per game, while Carolina allows 24.3 ppg per contest. The Ravens’ run offense is the second-best in the NFL, and it will be extremely hard for the visitors to stop it as their run defense is one of the worst in the league. The Panthers could also struggle with their run offense, which has been improving lately, to be honest. Still, Carolina is facing the third-best run defense that allows 92.0 yards per game, so the Ravens have an edge in every department.

Pick: Take the Raves at -11.5 (-110)

The Total

Carolina’s road defense is a disaster; they allowed 79 points in the last two away games, and I am backing the Ravens to score 30+ here after coming from a bye week and with fresh legs. The Panthers did score at least 21 points in each of their last four games, so there is a hope that the visitors will contribute enough to take this game to Over. Over is 4-0 in the last four H2H meetings; Over is 4-1 in the Panthers’ previous five games following an ATS win, while Over is 4-1 in the Ravens’ last five games following a bye week.

Pick: Go Over 41.5 points (-133)
