Week 1 of the NFL season didn’t exactly go according to plan when looking at the betting odds, as there were several upsets. The Detroit Lions got the party started with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the season opener, and things just kept getting crazier from there.

It can be hard to predict teams that will come out on top in Week 1, as it’s the first time that you really get to see most of the best players on the field. Now that we have seen everyone in action, making bets for Week 2 should get a little bit easier.

You will see more of the favored teams winning in Week 2, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be some underdogs that come up victorious. Using the odds from BetOnline, here are three underdog teams that will win in Week 2.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears were one of the most disappointing teams in Week 1 as they were blown out by the rival Green Bay Packers at home. Chicago now heads to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers, and they are 2.5-point favorites.

Quarterback Justin Fields entered this season with a ton of hype, but it already seems to be going away after just one week. Things change in a hurry in the NFL, though, and you should expect to see Fields to be at his best in this matchup.

There are some serious concerns with the defense for the Bears as well, but they are facing a Tampa Bay team that isn’t great offensively. Chicago is going to get just enough stops to stay in this game, and then their young quarterback will shine.

Bet on the Bears to win this game outright as they get back on track and into the win column.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots nearly knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1, and they showed a lot in that loss. New England comes into Week 2 as three-point underdogs at home as they are hosting the explosive Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots are not a team that is going to win a shootout against the Miami Dolphins, but they aren’t going to let the game be played out that way. Head coach Bill Belichick and his defensive staff will come up with a great game plan in this one, and it will frustrate Miami.

Quarterback Mac Jones did throw for over 300 yards in the Week 1 loss, and he proved that he deserves to be a starting quarterback in this league. Miami looked sharp in an upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, but facing the Patriots will be a different story.

New England is going to win this game at home as a slight underdog.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football, and these teams had very different results in Week 1. Pittsburgh was blown out at home by the San Francisco 49ers, and Cleveland dominated the Cincinnati Bengals for a big win.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has been successful in this league his entire career, and he knows how quickly things can change. He will have his Steelers team ready for this game, and you can expect them to take control of this game with defense.

It’s not like Cleveland is a team that can light up the scoreboard, and this is going to be a game that is tight throughout. Take the Steelers moneyline in this game as they win on Monday Night Football as 2.5-point underdogs.
