Having won three of their last four, the Braves now lead the National League East by 5.5 games.

Jesse Chavez will be pitching for the 22nd time this season, as the Braves head into a bullpen game, and he has pitched to a 2.50 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 18.0 innings pitched. Atlanta has been balanced at the plate as Matt Olson has mashed a team high 12 home runs, Sean Murphy has knocked in 34 RBIs, and Ronald Acuna Jr. is batting .343.
