We have the Eastern Conference duel in the NBA that will be played in Philadelphia on Wednesday, February 1, and here you can read the best Magic vs. 76ers betting pick and odds.

Philadelphia is looking for revenge when they welcome Orlando at Wells Fargo Center for the second time in three days. The 76ers are 9-point favorites on BetDSI Sportsbook, while the total is set at 231.5 points. These conference rivals have already faced three times this season, and the 76ers lead the series 2-1, but the Magic were better a couple of nights ago.

Magic surprised the Sixers in Philly

The Orlando Magic (20-31, 29-21-1 ATS) snapped a two-game losing streak with a shocking 119-109 road victory over the in-form Philadelphia 76ers. The Magic opened their four-game road trip with a victory in Philly and after this Wednesday’s tilt, they will visit Minnesota and Charlotte. Orlando erupted for 42 points in the third quarter against the Sixers and limited the hosts to just 19 points in the final 12 minutes to celebrate a well-deserved win. Even though the Magic shot only 42.4% from the field, they forced 19 turnovers and committed ten on the other end.

Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 29 points and team-high nine rebounds. Moritz Wagner added 22 points and six boards, Franz Wagner had 19 points, six rebounds, and two steals, Wendell Carter Jr. contributed 12 points and nine boards, while Markelle Fultz posted a double-double of 12 points and game-high ten dimes, along with a game-high four thefts.

PF Chuma Okeke (knee) is out indefinitely and will not feature on Wednesday in Philadelphia.

76ers disappointed in a loss to the Magic

The Philadelphia 76ers (32-17, 28-21-0 ATS) have played excellent basketball and were on a seven-game winning streak, but the Orlando Magic snapped that positive run with a surprising 119-109 win in Philly. It was one of the weakest offensive displays of the season for the 76ers, who weren’t bad from the floor (47.1%), but were careless with the ball in possession. Philadelphia committed 19 turnovers opposite Orlando’s ten, and that made the difference in this loss.

Joel Embiid led the Sixers with a double-double of 30 points and game-high 11 rebounds along with five assists, two steals, and two blocks. James Harden had 17 points, eight boards, and six assists, while Tobias Harris scored 17 points with six rebounds.

Trends:

Orlando:

• 3-8 ATS in the last 11 games against Philadelphia

Philadelphia:

• 5-1 ATS in the last six games vs. a team with a winning % below .400

• 16-6 ATS in the last 22 home games

• 13-5-1 ATS in the last 19 games following a double-digit loss at home

Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers Pick

I am pretty sure the Sixers will respond to an upset from a couple of nights ago as I seriously doubt they can lose two times to the Magic in back-to-back duels, with all due respect to Orlando. Philadelphia will be more careful with the ball in possession and I expect the backcourt (bar Harden) to contribute more offensively in this one. The 76ers have the 4th best defense in the NBA that allows 111.0 points per game, while Orlando’s D surrenders 114.5 ppg. The Magic snapped a 10-game losing skid against Philadelphia in the previous H2H duel, but I am backing the Sixers to return to winning ways on Wednesday.

Pick: Take the 76ers at -7.5 (-130)

The Total

After scoring only 109 points in the last game, I am backing the 76ers to bounce back offensively and put in 120+ points against Orlando. Still, I am not sure about Orlando’s contribution in terms of points; after all, the Magic have the 27th offense in the NBA that scores 111.3 points per game. They did score 119 against Philly in the latest game, but the hosts will limit them to a fewer number of baskets this time around. Orlando should reach a 100-point mar without issues, though. Over is 20-7 in the 76ers’ last 27 overall, while Over is 8-1 in Philadelphia’s previous nine home games.

Pick: Go Over 229.5 points (-130)
