One of the more entertaining divisions in all of the National Football League for the 2023 season will be the AFC East. The division was interesting already, and now a veteran quarterback has moved into the division.
The Bills could be the team to beat in all of the AFC, the Jets have Aaron Rodgers, Tua, and the Dolphins still have a ton of talent, and Bill still leads the charge for the Patriots. When the dust settles, which team is going to take the divisional title. Here is a look at the 2023 Odds (at BetDSI) to win the AFC East
Buffalo Bills +120
The Buffalo Bills are the team to beat in the division, because they have the most talent in the division. The Buffalo Bills ran away with the division a season ago, only to fall early in the postseason. Josh Allen is coming off a season where he threw for 42 touchdowns, and more than 5,000 yards. The biggest loss for Buffalo coming into the season was Tremaine Edmunds.
The Chicago Bears will now welcome his services as a stud linebacker. Buffalo was able to great Von Miller, one of the most feared edge rusher’s in the game. The Bills also grabbed Dalton Kincaid, a tight end. Injuries play a huge factor in the National Football League, but barring big injuries, this team should win the division.
New York Jets +270
The Jets added Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers during the offseason. But, what will the Jets get out of the aging veteran quarterback? The Packers struggle through most of last season, and really were not much better than the Jets.
New York was solid on the defensive side of the football, allowing the fourth fewest amount of points. If the Jets can figure out how to win close games, they may have a chance of being there in the end of the season. You can grab the Jets at +270.
Miami Dolphins +300
Many feel the Dolphins have some pretty good value at +300 to win the division. The 2022 version of the Dolphins offense was hot early and then slowed up. Tua Tagovailoa had several injuries, and the team ended up with a 9-8 record. Head coach Mike McDaniel has some talented players, including the pair of receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Those two combined for more than 3,000 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns a season ago. The Dolphins will look for Bradley Chubb and Jalen Ramsey to help on the defensive side. This is a dangerous team heading into 2023.
New England Patriots +800
The Patriots are a team, that if they get some things figured out from a season ago, could be super dangerous. The Patriots will send Mac Jones out under center. They will need him to stay consistent and hope to find his top targets all season long.
The Patriots were successful in low-scoring games, but if the scores started to mound up, they were in big-time trouble. The Patriots have gone 7-9, 10-7, and 8-9 in the three seasons since Tom Brady left the franchise.
