Game five of the Western Conference Finals is set for Saturday night when the Dallas Stars visit the Vegas Golden Knights. Dallas has not had an easy time in any game this series, but the Stars are just going to take it one game at a time and hope to bring it back home for a game six. Below is my NHL pick for the Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights.

Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights Betting Pick

The Pick: Vegas Golden Knights -138

This game will be played at T-Mobile Arena at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Why Bet the Vegas Golden Knights:

✅ Vegas has been hot and won five of their last six games played.

✅ The Golden Knights have won six of their last seven games in Vegas.

✅ Dallas has lost four of their last six games overall.

Dallas Starts Staying Alive

Dallas fell into a 0-3 series hole and all they can do it take it one game at a time. That started in game four when they had to come back from one goal deficits twice just to force overtime. The Stars kept the series alive with an overtime winner.

Game four got started with an early Vegas goal, just 4:17 into the game, but the Stars stayed with it and answered to tie the game up at one going into the first intermission. Vegas went ahead again 10 minutes into the second period, but, again, the Stars answered and tied the game up at two heading into intermission. There was no scoring in the third period, but Dallas got their first win of the series with a Joe Pavelski goal 3:18 into overtime.

Joe Pavelski was joined on the scoresheet by Jason Robertson who scored his 5th and 6th goals of the playoffs to keep the Stars in it. Four different Stars recorded at least one assist in the victory.

The Vegas Golden Knights Wont Panic

Vegas will be disappointed they could not finish off the sweep, but they just have to win one of the next three games to advance to the Stanley Cup. With two games on home ice the Golden Knights will fancy their chances of getting the job done.

In the game four defeat, William Karlsson and Jonathan Marchessault both got on the scoresheet. Four different Golden Knights recorded an assist on the night.
