We have another inter-conference duel in the NBA as a part of a ten-game slate on Saturday, March 11, and here you can get the best Bulls vs. Rockets betting pick and odds.

Houston will open a six-game home stand when they welcome Chicago at Toyota Center. The Bulls are 7-point favorites on BookMaker Sportsbook, while the total is set at N/A points. These inter-conference rivals will meet for the second time this season; the Rockets won 133-118 in Chicago.

Bulls shocked the Nuggets in Denver

The Chicago Bulls (30-36, 31-33-2 ATS) perhaps played their best game of the season in a surprising 117-96 road victory over the Denver Nuggets. The Bulls avoided a third straight defeat and handed the Nuggets their first home loss in nine games. Chicago limited the Nuggets to 42% from the floor, and despite allowing 15 triples and scoring seven on the other end, the Bulls deserved to win. They were cautious with the ball in possession and committed only nine turnovers, while they had nine steals opposite Denver’s five.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls with a game-high 29 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Nikola Vucevic posted a double-double of 25 points and game-high 13 boards, Patrick Williams scored 18 with four rebounds, while DeMar DeRozan contributed 17 points, game-high eight dishes, six boards, and game-high three thefts.

PG Lonzo Ball (knee) and G Javonte Green (knee) are out indefinitely and will not travel to Houston on Saturday.

Rockets lost to the Pacers in OT

The Houston Rockets (15-51, 27-38-1 ATS) displayed an improved performance from a big home loss to the Brooklyn Nets, but they couldn’t snatch a win over the Indiana Pacers on the road. The Rockets erased an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter and managed to force overtime thanks to Jabari Smith Jr.’s three-pointer with five seconds remaining. Smith Jr. then blocked Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winning attempt, but the Pacers played better in overtime and secured a 134-125 victory. Houston made only six triples opposite Indiana’s 18 and the hosts were better in assists (34-18), but the Rockets did dominate the boards (58-42).

Jabari Smith Jr. had the best game of his young career as he led the Rockets with a game-high 30 points, a game-high 12 rebounds, and two steals. Jalen Green added 24 points and four assists, Kenyon Martin Jr. chipped in 23 points and two thefts, Alperen Sengun scored 14 points with eight boards and two blocks, while Jae’Sean Tate registered 13 points and eight rebounds.

G Kevin Porter was absent from the previous game due to a thigh contusion, and it is unknown whether he will face off with the Bulls on Saturday.

Trends:

  • 4-1-1 ATS in the last six Saturday games

Houston:

  • 3-7 ATS in the last ten games overall
  • 7-20 ATS in the last 27 games following a straight-up loss
  • 1-4 ATS in the last five games playing on one day of rest

Chicago Bulls vs. Houston Rockets Pick

The Bulls are better in both offense and defense, and given that the Rockets are tanking and have the worst record in the entire NBA, while Chicago is chasing a playoff-play-in spot, I am going with the visitors in this one. The Bulls score 113.1 points per game opposite Houston’s 110.3 points per contest, which is the second-worst offense in the league. When it comes to defense, the Bulls have a top-10 D that allows 112.5 ppg opposite the Rockets’ 118.5 ppg – the third weakest defense in the NBA. Chicago owes Houston for a home loss in an H2H duel earlier this season, and I think the Bulls will get their revenge on Saturday.

Pick: Take the Bulls at -5.5 (-133)

The Total

Houston allowed 110 points in each of the last ten games, and even though Chicago’s offense is far from being impressive, I think the visitors can score 115+ with ease. Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic have one of the easiest matchups of the season, and I am sure they will exploit it. Over is 4-1 in the last five H2H meetings; Over is 7-2 in the Bulls’ previous nine Saturday games, while Over is 5-2 in the Rockets’ last seven overall.

Pick: Go Over N/A points
