The 2022 NBA Finals continue Sunday, June 5, with Game 2 at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, so we bring you the best Celtics vs. Warriors betting pick along with the latest team stats, news, and odds update.

Boston stunned Golden State in Game 1 this past Thursday, grabbing a 120-108 victory as 3.5-point favorites with a total of 214.0 points. The Celtics are 4-point dogs this time around, while the Warriors sit at -185 moneyline odds on BetDSI Sportsbook

The Celtics delivered an epic comeback in the opener

The resilient Boston Celtics erased a 15-point deficit in Game 1. They outscored the Warriors 40-16 in the most lopsided fourth quarter in NBA Finals history. After yielding 38 points in the third quarter, the Celtics put on a memorable performance in the final 12 minutes.

Al Horford finished Game 1 with 26 points, six rebounds, and three assists, going 6-for-8 from downtown. Jaylen Brown had 24 points, seven boards, and five dimes, while Derrick White added 21 points off the bench, including some big buckets down the stretch.

Jayson Tatum made only three of his 17 field-goal attempts, but he also had 13 assists. The Celtics shot 50.6% from the field and 51.2% from beyond the 3-point line (21-for-41). They handed out a thumping 33 assists while turning the ball over only 13 times.

The Warriors hope to regain the momentum

The Golden State Warriors played very well through the first three quarters of Thursday’s opener just to collapse in the fourth. It was their first home loss in the 2022 NBA Playoffs, as the Dubs put an end to their 11-game win streak at Chase Center dating back to this past regular season.

Golden State made 44.3% of its field goals and 42.2% of its 3-pointers (19-for-45). The Warriors had 24 assists, 14 turnovers, and 12 offensive rebounds, but they lost focus in the fourth quarter and finished Game 1 with only 26 points in the paint.

In his return to the NBA’s biggest stage, Stephen Curry accounted for 34 points, five boards, five assists, and three steals. He went 7-for-14 from beyond the arc, but it wasn’t enough. Draymond Green missed ten of his 12 field-goal attempts, while Klay Thompson went 6-for-14 for 15 points.

Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors Pick

I got burned on the Warriors in Game 1 after backing the Celtics all postseason long. Golden State cannot afford another meltdown on the home court, so I have to take the Warriors again in Game 2.

The Celtics are playing like they have nothing to lose. Their roster is full of NBA Finals first-timers. On the other side, the Warriors’ big three are here for the sixth time in eight years, playing for their fourth championship. They should thrive under pressure and win this battle.

Pick: Take Golden State Warriors -4.0 at -110

The Total:

The Celtics and Warriors recorded 93 possessions apiece and still combined for 228 points in the opening game of the 2022 NBA Finals. They shot very well from deep while scoring just 60 points in the paint in total.

I lean toward the under in Game 2, looking for both teams to continue with a strong defensive performance in the paint. Of course, Boston and Golden State can make it rain from deep, but they’ve held their opponents below a 38 3-point percentage clip throughout the postseason.

Pick: Go under 215.5 points at -110
