The Bettor’s Box MLB Betting Podcast April 16, 2020

How about something different on today’s edition of The Bettor’s Box? We’ve got a lot of time on our hands with no sports to watch, so host Adam Burke felt it was a good time to give his thoughts on some of the baseball movies that are out there. He had some recommendations and some potentially hot takes, but it was a nice distraction and a different kind of format for today’s podcast.

The NFL Draft is fast approaching and we’ve got a lot of coverage here at BangTheBook.com. In fact, Adam mentioned that he thinks his piece on following the betting markets to find out what is going to happen is one of the best articles he’s written in a while. Check that out along with our other NFL Draft coverage.

Be sure to take advantage of the BTB200 promo code over at DSI Sportsbook to get a healthy deposit bonus for betting the NFL Draft and be sure to check out the rest of our sportsbook reviews if you already have a DSI account to give yourself some more outs for next Thursday’s festivities.

On the Thursday April 16 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke shared his thoughts and some reviews on baseball movies. There are a few hotter takes and some stronger recommendations, but Adam ran through more than 15 baseball movies with some notes and nuggets about each one and the things he likes and dislikes about those flicks.

Major League, Major League II, The Sandlot, Rookie of the Year, Little Big League, Angels in the Outfield, Moneyball, 42, The Natural, Eight Men Out, A League of Their Own, Field of Dreams, For the Love of the Game, The Rookie, and more were all discussed and analyzed to give listeners something to watch during this brutal period of quarantine.

Apologies that the audio ran out of steam towards the tail end.
