The Florida Swing continues this week with the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. There is a “home field” element to this week’s tournament and that is one of many angles that Brian Blessing hit on for us during this video look at this PGA Tour tournament just outside of Orlando.
With its invitational status, this event has a smaller field and a bigger purse, so a lot of the big names are on hand, including favorite Rory McIlroy, second favorites Tommy Fleetwood and Bryson DeChambeau, guys like Hideki Matsuyama, Brooks Koepka, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, Tony Finau, and countless other excellent players.
The Players Championship is next week at TPC Sawgrass, so a lot of PGA Tour players are looking to get ready for that and also for the upcoming majors with about a month until the Masters. Brian isn’t looking ahead to anything except for this tournament and he mentioned several players that are on his radar for this week, including some guys that fit that local angle and also some guys that are just in good form with mispriced odds.
