The most famous little golden man in Hollywood will make the rounds tonight in the 87th Academy Awards as the top filmmakers and actors look to take home an Oscar for their celebrated work. And as with every awards show or competition, there are a bevy of favorites to look out for. BetDSI has the latest odds on the 2015 Academy Awards that begin at 7 p.m. ET.

Richard Linklater's Boyhood is predicted to win for the Best Picture category. The film that sees a young boy grow up over the course of 12 years has been hailed as a revolution in film-making with noted critic Richard Roeper calling it, "One of the most remarkable moviegoing experiences I've ever had."

Liknklater, who is also the heavy favorite to win Best Director, is known for his other stellar films like Waking Life, the Before Sunrise trilogy, and the cult-classic Dazed and Confused, but his latest creation is clearly his magnum opus and enters as the Best Picture favorite for legitimate reason. However, there are some murmurs that the Oscar committee could cast oversight on Boyhood, much like they did for Pulp Fiction in 1994. If this were to happen, the category may go to Birdman or American Sniper.

Patricia Arquette is another one of the big favorites from Boyhood who should take home Best Supporting Actress for her inspired role as the desperately committed and emotional mother. The film has six nominations in all after winning three Golden Globes for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actress.

Eddie Redmayne is listed as a (-200) favorite to win Best Actor for The Theory of Everything, while Michael Keaton falls just behind at (+150) for his portrayal in Birdman as a down-and-out actor trying to get back into the limelight by writing a Broadway play. Julianne Moore enters as a good bet to win Best Actress for her role in Still Alice with (-500) odds.

The Best Supporting Actor category is likely to go to J.K. Simmons of Whiplash. Simmons plays a strict and abusive jazz instructor in the film that enters with five nominations overall.
