The 2023-24 college basketball season is just getting underway, but there have already been a ton of big games that have taken place. That will only continue throughout the rest of the year, especially the closer that we end up getting to March.
There are a ton of great betting options to look at when it comes to futures betting on this sport. Trying to pick the eventual champion is always something to explore, and those betting odds have been changing quite a bit already.
It’s important to check these betting odds often as you always want to strike when there is a ton of value. Here is a look at the betting odds to win the NCAAB championship, and you are going to see these changing each week.

Favorites Still the Same
Even though the betting odds have been changing quite a bit for this market, you are still going to see the same three teams at the top of the list. There is no clear favorite to win the championship this season, but there are a handful of teams that should be in the mix.
The Kansas Jayhawks remain the betting favorite to win the title, but the odds have shifted down to +1100 this season. Kansas has been sharp to begin the year, and there is no reason to believe that they can’t continue to win.
The Purdue Boilermakers have the second best odds to win the title, and those odds are currently sitting at +1200. Purdue has nearly the same roster back from a season ago, and they were a number 1 seed.
Things haven’t gone extremely well for Duke to begin the year, but the Blue Devils are still sitting at +1400 (at BetDSI) on the year. Duke does already have a loss to Arizona, but they have also proven that they are absolutely loaded with talent.
Rest of the Teams
You aren’t going to see betting odds for every team in the country, as not every team can realistically play well enough to win the national championship. More teams will actually fall off of the list as teh season moves along, and the odds are going to tighten up as well.
The UConn Huskies are the defending champions in college basketball, and they have gotten off to a huge start to the season. UConn has seen their odds to win the national championship improve in a big way as those odds are currently sitting at +1600.
The Houston Cougars are also in the mix this season at +1600, and they just continue to fly under the radar a bit. Next you are going to see a number of teams listed at +1800, and there are some blue blood programs in the mix.
While some teams have been a major surprise this season, there are also teams that have been a big disappointment. Michigan State is one of the teams that comes to mind as they are now listed at +2000 to get this done.
Kansas Still the Choice
Now isn’t a bad time to bet on the eventual college basketball champion as even the favorites come with a ton of value. This is a sport that always tends to come with some surprises, but the best team still looks pretty clear as well.
If the Kansas Jayhawks are able to stay healthy then they are going to be a tough team to deal with throughout the regular season. Kansas just has so many weapons, and they are going to face a difficult schedule that will test them.
There are some other great teams as well, but getting the Kansas Jayhawks at +1100 is the way to go.
