North Florida Ospreys vs. LIU Sharks ATS Preview
In the Ospreys’ last outing, they fell to the Creighton Bluejays, 76-67. Wajid Aminu put together a solid performance for North Florida, finishing with 17 points and nine rebounds. Creighton held the Ospreys to an effective field goal percentage of 0.393 (below their season average of 0.533). North Florida, on the other hand, did a terrific job of making free throws (19-21; 90.5 percent).
The Sharks are hoping for a better outcome after their 96-66 loss to the No. 12 Texas Tech Red Raiders in their last game. Raiquan Clark was LIU’s leading scorer with 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting. Texas Tech had an offensive rebounding percentage of 41.2 (above their season average of 31.9). LIU, meanwhile, did a fantastic job of converting from the charity stripe (14-19; 73.7 percent).
There should be plenty of transition action in this contest that showcases two of the nation’s more fast-paced teams. LIU ranks 44th in possessions per game (72.5) and North Florida is 31st (73.3) dating back to last season.
