In the Roos’ last outing, they fell to the New Mexico State Aggies, 67-61. Jordan Giles had a solid game for Kansas City, leading the team in scoring with 20 points on 9-for-15 shooting. New Mexico State did a terrific job of making free throws (15-21; 71.4 percent). Kansas City, on the other hand, had a better effective field goal percentage (0.563 vs. 0.542).
The Antelopes come in on a high note after defeating the California Baptist Lancers in their last contest, 103-98. With 25 points on 6-for-6 shooting, Carlos Johnson led Grand Canyon in scoring.
