The Dodgers swept Washington in a three-game series as well to keep their momentum going.
Most teams get started with their next series on Monday this week. Tampa Bay will meet Boston in a huge AL East clash in Fenway. The Yankees are in Texas against the suddenly cold Texas Rangers.

-The Angels are 4-15 in Joe Blanton’s 19 starts so far this year. They have been fighting and clawing to get back to .500, but losing almost every time Blanton starts is hurting this team. Blanton starts on Monday night as a big mlb pick favorite against the Minnesota Twins.
-The over is 11-2 in the last 13 meetings between the Oakland Athletics and the Houston Astros. Houston has looked hapless since the break, and they’ll host the Athletics in a three-game series this week.
