Make sure to check back on a regular basis as we will post our MLB Picks of the Day!

Here is the MLB Picks for Saturday, July 5th, 2014.

Baltimore Orioles at Boston Red Sox

If you have not noticed there is some weather affecting the east coast. This could easily wreak havoc when betting on baseball this weekend. Make sure before betting on any baseball games that could be affected by weather, you know all the rules that your sportsbook has when it comes to games that are postponed or cancelled. This game is simple. After getting manhandled by the Cubs, the Sox need a win and Jon Lester will get the job done.

LA Dodgers at Colorado Rockies

The Dodgers are one of the best teams in baseball, but they will have trouble in this game against the Rockies. Although the Rockies have had problems this season, they play much better at home. Dan Haren has pitched well for the Dodgers, but he has been beat up by the Rockies losing his last two outings after he allowed eleven earned runs. The Dodgers are 0-4 in Harens last 4 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance as he always struggles to put together back to back good outings. The Rockies are 41-10 in Jorge De La Rosas last 51 home starts and they will get the win over the Dodgers on Saturday afternoon.

Milwaukee Brewers at Cincinnati Reds

Not many experts thought that the Brewers would be ahead of the Reds at this point in the season. The Brewers are having a good season, but they have had a history of problems playing in this ballpark against this team. The Brewers are 17-35 in the last 52 meetings in Cincinnati and 1-4 in the last five meetings. Homer Bailey will take the hill for the Reds and he is 5-1 in his six starts at home this season. He has also won three straight starts against the Brewers and realizes that this is a huge series for this team. The Reds get a big win and get right back into this race.
