Here are the top sports betting trends for May 11:

MLB: Boston Red Sox at Oakland Athletics (10:05 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play over in Oakland home games. The over is 12-1 (+11.35 units) this season.

The A’s and Red Sox open up their first series of the season against each other on Monday night as Scott Kazmir faces Rick Porcello. The A’s have played a lot of high-scoring games this season and they have been a juggernaut on the over. Coliseum is not known as a good hitter’s park, but the A’s have rattled off 12 overs in 13 games at the cavernous facility. Oddsmakers continue to line the A’s too low and you can take advantage on Monday night with a line of 7.5.

NBA: Atlanta Hawks at Washington Wizards (7:00 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play against Atlanta using the money line in road games against good offensive teams scoring 99 or more points per game in the second half of the season. The Hawks are 6-23 (-21.3 units) over the last three seasons.

The Wizards persevered as a home underdog over the weekend without John Wall. They are expected to be without Wall once again for Game 4, as the Hawks are favored by four points. Several books are showing Atlanta -4.5, so those interested in following this trend and fading the Hawks should shop around for the best line.

Bonus Trend: Play over in Washington home games versus good offensive teams scoring 99 or more points per game in the second half of the season. The over is 10-1 (+8.9 units) this season.

MLB: Miami Marlins at Los Angeles Dodgers (10:10 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play on Los Angeles in home games against right-handed starters. The Dodgers are 11-2 (+11.55 units) this season.

The Dodgers are a big favorite on Monday night with Zack Greinke on the hill against Tom Koehler. Those looking to back the Dodgers will have to lay over two dollars, but the Dodgers have been a pretty sure thing at home against righties so far this season with 11 wins in 13 games. They obviously have a big pitching edge in this one.

Bonus Trend: Play over in Los Angeles home games. The over is 59-33 (+26.1 units) over the last two seasons.

NBA: Golden State Warriors at Memphis Grizzlies (9:30 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play on Memphis using the money line in home games after a win by 10 or more points. The Grizzlies are 11-1 (+10 units) this season.

As mentioned on Cole Ryan’s Betting the Buckets NBA betting podcast, the Warriors have a myriad of problems entering Game 4. They are still favored by five points, but bettors should be very careful with this game. The Grizzlies have done a good job of sustaining momentum this season after big home wins and will look to do the same in this game.

Bonus Trend: Play on Golden State in the first half of road games after a loss by 10 or more points. The Warriors are 15-2 (+12.8 units) over the last three seasons.

Bonus Trend 2: Play under on the total in Memphis games versus poor defensive teams allowing 99 or more points per game. The under is 32-16 (+14.4 units) this season.

MLB: Chicago White Sox at Milwaukee Brewers (7:20 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play over in Milwaukee home games in May. The over is 15-3 (+11.9 units) over the last two seasons.

Jeff Samardzija will take the mound for the road team against Wily Peralta. The White Sox will lose a hitter in this game due to the National League’s DH rules and that seems to be factored into the line with a total of eight runs. It’s interesting to note that the Brewers are virtually a money line pick ‘em in this game, despite how they have played and despite the pitching matchup.

Bonus Trend: Play against Chicago in road games on a grass field. The White Sox are 3-10 (-12.75 units) this season.

MLB: Kansas City Royals at Texas Rangers (8:05 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play on Kansas City using the money line in road night games. The Royals are 45-24 (+24.35 units) over the last two seasons.

The Royals picked up a 2-1 win on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball in Detroit to improve upon this trend. Danny Duffy is a road favorite against Colby Lewis, but the betting market has come in on the Rangers after an extra-inning affair for the Royals in which they used all of their top relievers. A brief rain delay also threw a wrench into the game and the Royals got into Texas late.

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles (7:05 p.m. ET)

Trend: Play on Baltimore in night games. The Orioles are 79-51 (+33.05 units) over the last two seasons.

The Orioles did all of the damage on this trend last season, but they are favored with Ubaldo Jimenez on the mound against Marco Estrada in this Monday night battle. The Orioles are just 6-12 in night games so far this season.
