There are a lot of reasons to keep coming back to BangTheBook for all of your sports betting and analysis. Our podcasts have become a much bigger part of that equation this season. For the final time this season, Adam Burke addressed the listeners of The Bettor’s Box, our MLB betting podcast. As we close the book on the 2015 season, Adam talked about World Series Game 3, looked ahead in the series, and also spoke from the heart regarding each and every listener of the show.

Listeners of the show can also hit Adam up on Twitter at his handle, @SkatingTripods, to talk baseball betting, topics for the show, or any other sport at BangTheBook. He’s always willing to discuss baseball, as well as the other sports. Don’t hesitate to ask him for more clarification about sabermetrics or about the observations that he has seen in previous games.

We have an app now for your Apple devices. Please check out and download the BangTheBook app, which features a mock sportsbook, live odds, access to our articles, and more. An Android app is coming very soon.

The Bettor’s Box is all about baseball, but we have all kinds of phenomenal podcast content. Adam is also on The College Football Podcast with Kyle Hunter, recorded every Monday, the Gridiron Gambling Report with Cole Ryan, recorded every Tuesday, and Betting the Buckets, Cole Ryan’s NBA betting podcast every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As you will see at the bottom of this write-up, there are several places to find our podcasts.

Noah Syndergaard’s pitch over the head of Alcides Escobar seemed to set the tone for Game 3 and the New York Mets got back in the series with a big win. Adam opened the show with his thoughts on that pitch and the reaction from both sides. After that, he dug a bit deeper into Game 3 and then took a look ahead to Game 5. With Game 4 on the night of the recording of the show, listeners are advised to go back and listen to last Thursday’s show for more insight into that game.

Prior to Thursday’s show, breaking news hit the wire about Alex Anthopoulos declining an extension with the Toronto Blue Jays. There seemed to be some friction between Anthopoulos and new Team President Mark Shapiro. With some time to process everything that happened, Adam gave some updated thoughts and opinions on that situation.

Finally, this was a tremendously successful first season of the show. Listeners certainly benefited from the show, but Adam did as well. With a long list of people to thank, including those that make the show possible, the final episode of The Bettor’s Box was a good way to head into the offseason.
