CSUN Matadors vs. Colgate Raiders ATS Preview
The last time the Matadors played, they lost big to the Richmond Spiders, 90-62. CSUN’s Michael Ou put together a good game, contributing 14 points and eight rebounds. Richmond was lights out from beyond the arc (15-30; 50.0 percent). CSUN, meanwhile, did a terrific job of making free throws (17-21; 81.0 percent).
The Raiders hope to keep it rolling after blowing out the SUNY-Cortland Red Dragons in their last game, 89-50. Colgate was lifted by Rapolas Ivanauskas, who was the top scorer from either team with 18 points on 8-for-9 shooting. Colgate played a nearly flawless game. They had a fantastic effective field goal percentage of 0.621 (above their season average of 0.489) and a turnover percentage of 14.6 (better than their season average of 17.8). For those same stats, SUNY-Cortland had marks of 0.343 and 23.8, respectively.
The high-powered offense of Colgate will face off against the porous defense of CSUN. Since last season, the Raiders rank 46th in offensive efficiency, while the Matadors are 349th in defensive efficiency. The Raiders figure to have the edge on that side of the ball.
