Host Adam Burke opened up the show with The Bettor’s Box, his MLB betting podcast, to do a Five and Fly segment on the NL East. Five minutes on each of the five teams with thoughts on the Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals.

After talking about those teams with some season win total updates, Adam looked at the news and notes of Spring Training on the injury front.


Professional handicapper Ralph Michaels from joined Adam for this week’s Capping the Card segment. With Kyle Hunter (DNP – illness) on the shelf, we called in a favor from an old friend and got Ralph back on the show. Conference tournaments start on Tuesday, so the guys started there with some conference tournament advice.

They looked at the Atlantic Sun, Big South, Horizon, Patriot, Mountain West, and Ohio Valley Conference Tournaments to get some betting tips, consider some futures prices, and handicap the fields for the start of the postseason.
