A jampacked Wednesday edition of BangTheBook Radio featured two guests and some college basketball and NFL playoffs. Host Adam Burke opened up the January 8 show with Greg Peterson of VSIN and the Hoopin’ With Hoops podcast and closed the show with VSIN host Wes Reynolds.
We’ve got all sorts of NFL playoffs coverage already posted and coming your way this week at BangTheBook.com. James Mazzola has a Sony Open preview for us and we also have daily NHL thoughts from Parker Michaels. Tennis is back and so is BigTenWatto. We also have plenty of college basketball and NBA coverage and we’re not that far away from the returns of UFC, NASCAR, and MLB. Keep it right here.
Host Adam Burke opened up the show talking some college basketball and some NFL with Greg Peterson of the Hoopin’ With Hoops podcast and also a regular contributor to VSIN. Adam and Greg started on the hardwood with a talk about home court advantage, handicapping conference play, and then a look at a few games tonight, including Arkansas vs. LSU and Kansas vs. Iowa State.
The guys also hit the NFL playoffs to talk about the four Divisional Round games and see what Greg has already played and what he is looking to play for the second weekend of postseason action.
Wes Reynolds, @WesReynolds1 on Twitter, rejoined the show after a couple of weeks off due to the holiday season. Adam and Wes dug into the four NFL playoff games and looked at all sorts of different angles for Vikings vs. 49ers, Titans vs. Ravens, Texans vs. Chiefs, and Seahawks vs. Packers, including an assessment of what we’ve seen in the betting markets so far. The guys wrapped up with some thoughts for the Sony Open.
Join us on Thursday when we chat National Championship and NFL Playoffs with professional handicapper Brad Powers.
