Basketball, football, and golf. That sounds like a nice day, doesn’t it? That was the show on the Wednesday January 15 edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke talked college hoops and NFL playoffs with Greg Peterson and then continued the conference championship discussion with Wes Reynolds before wrapping up with some golf analysis.

Greg Peterson from the Hoopin’ With Hoops podcast and also a regular contributor to VSIN and the Point Spread Weekly newsletter joined host Adam Burke to open up this Hump Day edition of the broadcast. The guys talked college basketball, including the manner in which Greg handicaps coaches and whether or not he adds some first half or live betting plays to his long list of daily picks.
The guys took a look at three games for tonight, with thoughts on Kentucky vs. South Carolina, Creighton vs. Georgetown, and Stanford vs. UCLA. Then they launched into a breakdown of this weekend’s NFC and AFC Championship Games.
That discussion continued with Wes Reynolds, as he and Adam gave their thoughts and analysis on Packers vs. 49ers and also Titans vs. Chiefs for the conference championship weekend. Both guys had some strong takes and some strong insights into the spread and total for both games.
We’ve also got a couple of golf events this week, so we were able to get Wes’s thoughts on the HSBC Abu Dhabi Championship and also The American Express, formerly the Desert Classic and the CareerBuilder Challenge. Wes had some outright picks for the events.
