Spring Training begins next week and we’re starting to work in some more MLB info on BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke did that in today’s first segment with professional handicapper Bryan Leonard from WagerTalk.com. The guys also talked a little NBA before Wes Reynolds joined Adam to chat some Big Ten college hoops and this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Baseball coverage returns to BangTheBook very soon with MLB season previews and win total picks for all 30 teams, plus a bevy of futures betting content. Be on the lookout for that over the next two weeks. In the meantime, we have a UFC 247 preview, a preview from James Mazzola for Pebble Beach, NBA Power Rankings from Noops, daily college basketball stuff from Adam and Allen Moody, daily NHL from Parker Michaels, NBA from Admir Aljic. Things are busy at BangTheBook.com to say the least.
Host Adam Burke opened up the show with professional handicapper Bryan Leonard from WagerTalk.com and the guys had plenty to talk about on the baseball side. They talked about the big Mookie Betts deal on Tuesday night with four teams involved. They handicapped what the deal means for those involved and gave out some advice on how to factor the offseason into your projections.
They also spent a few minutes on the NBA with some betting tips for the week before the All-Star Break in terms of teams to buy and teams to sell and looked at the Trade Deadline.
Wes Reynolds from VSIN also joined Adam for the Wednesday segment. The guys discussed a wrap-up of the Super Bowl and then took a look at some Big Ten college hoops, including tonight’s Iowa vs. Purdue and Wisconsin vs. Minnesota matchups. Adam and Wes also broke down the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Wes shared his outright picks for the event.
Join us on Thursday when we chat about college basketball and the NBA with Brad Powers and John Ryan.
