We’re still rolling on through the month of February on BangTheBook Radio. We fired up a new week of programming on Monday February 17 with a new edition of The Bettor’s Box, host Adam Burke’s MLB betting podcast, and a segment with Kyle Hunter regarding this week in college basketball. It was certainly a fine start to the week.
It is a fine start to the week over at BangTheBook.com as well. Situational betting articles are up for the NBA, NHL, and college basketball. A new NBA power rankings piece from Noops is also on the way and we have a strong set of tennis previews from BigTenWatto for this week’s events in Rio, Marseille, and Delray Beach. Allen Moody is on top of college hoops. We’ll have a lot more throughout the week, so keep it tuned right here.
Host Adam Burke opened up the week on the podcast by chatting some Major League Baseball. Everybody has reported to Spring Training and games actually start later this week. Adam talked a lot about how isolate individual player regression for those looking to play futures and season win totals, but also those with some fantasy baseball drafts coming up.
Adam highlighted both pitchers and hitters to talk about the importance of evaluating the metrics and how they factor into his season win total handicapping. His MLB Betting Guide for the 2020 season will be out this week!
Professional handicapper Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com and BetterSportsPicks.com was today’s only guest, but the guys fit a lot into a short amount of time. They talked about some regression candidates from across the country and also hit on a whole bunch of games for this week.
Among the games that they discussed were Robert Morris vs. Saint Francis (PA), Dayton vs. VCU, Boston U vs. Lafayette, Furman vs. ETSU, and Vermont vs. Stony Brook. Nobody does the under-the-radar games better than this duo.
Join us on Tuesday for a full program with Brian Blessing to talk NHL, golf, and NASCAR for this week’s various events.
