This week on BangTheBook Radio finished up with a lot of college hoops content as we head on into a busy weekend. Greg Peterson of the Hoopin’ With Hoops podcast joined host Adam Burke at the top of the show and then Adam shared some of his college basketball and NHL thoughts for the weekend to wrap up an abbreviated version of the show.

Host Adam Burke opened up the show chatting some college basketball with Greg Peterson of the Hoopin’ With Hoops Podcast. Adam and Greg discussed the mental side of handicapping with the big swings that can happen in this business. They also looked at the Friday night card to pick out the most intriguing games of the night.
Most of the focus on the segment was on Saturday, with thoughts on West Virginia vs. Baylor, VCU vs. Richmond, LSU vs. Alabama, Northern Iowa vs. Loyola Chicago, and an example of a look-ahead spot with Binghamton as a big underdog against Vermont. A wide range of games, but a narrow focus on the betting angles and opportunities.
To finish up this shortened Valentine’s Day show, Adam spent a few minutes looking at some situational spots on his radar for the college basketball card this weekend, including several spots for Saturday’s action. Adam also shared some NHL betting insights for this weekend as well.
Join us on Monday for another edition of The Bettor’s Box and some thoughts with Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com on the week ahead in college basketball.
