The sports calendar has suddenly gotten a lot busier. Fortunately, that gives host Adam Burke and guest Brian Blessing a lot to talk about on Tuesday editions of BangTheBook Radio. On this August 4 recording, the guys talked about the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park, the NHL playoffs, and took a quick look at this week’s NASCAR at Michigan for the FireKeepers Casino 500 and the Consumers Energy 500.
We’re covering all sorts of things at BangTheBook.com right now, including MLB, NHL, NBA, golf, UFC, and NASCAR. Times are busy and we’re plugging away to do as much as we can across those six sports. NFL and college football are hopefully on the horizon and we’ll be looking more at those as well.

Host Adam Burke and guest Brian Blessing had a lot to get to in a short amount of time on this Tuesday August 4 edition of the show. Adam and Brian started with the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park to handicap the first major of the golf season. They had some strong opinions on how to analyze the event and the players that are on their list.
The NHL Playoffs have been interesting so far and the guys looked at Tuesday’s late games and then Wednesday’s slate of action on the ice as well. Then they wrapped up looking at the NASCAR Cup Series with back-to-back races in Michigan on the big track in Brooklyn, the FireKeepers 500 and the Consumers Energy 500.
