stanley cup playoffs have been entertaining so far. saddening to know that my preds are one loss away from elimination after last night's heartbreaker. i live 2 hours drive from nashville and 3 hours from st louis so i would have no problem routing for the blues if the preds are eliminated. oh yeah the blues are on the brink of elimination too. i dont know what i will do then! GO PREDATORS

yup, will be pulling for him. Nice type of contest in that you are not playing "against" anyone but the house and you can pull for everyone else. Unless, of course, we win too much and they shut the contest down, LOL.

Hi man..........thanks for your good wishes in Tuesday's streaker. Well, I got foiled. Had Tampa (W) not only penciled in, but already typed in. I was playing them also, so I did a last minute check on why the line was dropping. I knew they had called up 4-5 players but then found outthere was a flu bug going around the clubhouse. So, I changed it to Vanc. (L, shootout). The number was right on the Canucks, but I wasn't in love going against a red hot Pnx. team. I didn't like Weds. early card, so I re-typed & went with Vancouver.
Hey, that's the way it goes sometimes, right. Getting paid for these winners is a real pain in the butt. I'm still trying to get credit for my last win Feb 4.

DID you know you have a wall. People can post messages just to you on here. I don't think they go out into the forum but anyone coming to your wall can see them. This is kinda neat.

Live betting in soccer can be very profitable if youre willing to grind. I did it and found it took over my whole life, which obviously isn't great in a family enviroment. Unless you have the time to put into it live betting probably isn't for you.

I would think that there would be a few nice hits like this one if Toronto happens to win, but you would end up with multiple chances for chasing your tail and can probably get killed if you don't know what you're doing....

Well Toronto tied it, and i'm not sure the lowest odds TB went to, but I at least saw -125, so you could have done a hedge with that. I noticed the Mets got up to a 3 run lead as well, and held on, so that would have been a loss.

Is baseball the best sport to live bet teams that are down? My thought for this is, unlike other sports, there is no clock. So the team ahead can't make the game finish quicker. You still get all your outs, and can get as many runs as you can, in your own way. I would think, no matter who the team is, you might be able to turn a profit just betting teams that get down 2-3 runs early. thoughts?

Never tried live bases either...not sure what the lines look like in the middle of the game where a team is down 2-3 runs...I remember a while back at another forum one of the guys followed Cliff Lee and watched his first inning...if he ran off the mound after the 3rd out in the first inning he generally was fired up about his stuff then he would lay whatever juice he had to and seemed to be pretty successful....if he just walked off the mound or had a tough first inning he wouldn't necessarily go the other way but would lay off betting on him....
Would certainly depend on the bullpen of the team that's up but I assume that would be reflected in the live line though....interested to see if anyone on the board has any experience with this...
