Finally the bowl game that everyone is waiting for is finally here when the Auburn Tigers battle the Oregon Ducks to determine who will win the BCS National Championship. The latest college football odds for this bowl game have Auburn listed as three point favorites with the total set at 74.

Auburn quarterback Cam Newton is the best player in college football this season and walked away with the Heisman Trophy this year. He led the Tigers to an undefeated season and is the most amazing player to watch on Saturday. Amid controversy he rose to the occasion and beat every team he faced in the toughest conference in all of football, the SEC.

The Tigers won ballgames by rushing the football Netwon led a cast of characters that could run the ball against any opponent and put up plenty of points on the scoreboard. In the championship game he will be facing a team that knows something about putting up points.

The Oregon Ducks will represent the Pac-10 in this game and with the high powered offense they have, they can win this game. The offense is carried by Heisman candidate running back LaMichael James who can shred defenses with his quick speed and tackle breaking ability.

Darron Thomas is under center for the Ducks and he can orchestrate quick striking drives that appear to be unstoppable.

Thomas has completed 195 of 321 passes for 2,518 yards and 28 touchdowns, four shy of Akili Smith's 1998 single-season school record. Thomas also has run for 563 yards and five scores. Thomas will be tough to contend with, but will be the second most talented signal caller on the field for this game.

The Tigers are 35-15-1 ATS in their last 51 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games as a favorite of 0.5-3.0. The Ducks are 3-7 ATS in the last ten games against teams with a winning record and will not be able to stop the best rushing team in football.

Auburn wins the big game, covers the number, and is crowned the best team in football.
