Mondays are a real drag, especially in the summertime, but at least they mean a new edition of The Bettor’s Box with host Adam Burke. Adam was back and better than ever with the June 24 edition of the show.
We’ve got a lot of fine content at BangTheBook.com across all sports and all of the different betting markets, so make it a point to check out all that we have going on to get you ready for the NFL and college football seasons and the rest of our daily and weekly content.
Host Adam Burke had a lot to discuss on today’s edition of The Bettor’s Box, beginning with today’s two Monday Mailbag questions. Listeners asked about tracking plays in a spreadsheet and also about offense vs. specific pitch types, which sort of leaked over into the Beyond the Box Score portion of the show. Adam discussed Marlins vs. Phillies, Braves vs. Nationals, Padres vs. Pirates, Astros vs. Yankees, Reds vs. Brewers and a historically bad year for bullpens.
In the Down the Lines segment, Adam recapped line moves dating back to Friday and also discussed the importance of having multiple books at your disposal to get multiple betting line options. Finally, Adam previewed four series for this week with thoughts on Braves vs. Cubs, Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks, Nationals vs. Marlins, and Rays vs. Twins. He also projected line moves for six games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
No Bettor’s Box on Thursday this week, so join us later in the week for a UFC segment with Christian Pina.
