The top seed in the West Region, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are slight favorites on Thursday in the Sweet Sixteen as they take on the #4 seeded West Virginia Mountaineers. The Mountaineers are coming off an impressive win against Notre Dame on Saturday, while the Bulldogs just got past Northwestern. The Bulldogs are not getting a ton of respect from the oddsmakers, as they are just 3-point favorites in this contest. Let’s look at the matchup and Sweet Sixteen picks.
The Mountaineers play the Bulldogs in the Sweet Sixteen on Thursday, March 23rd at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Sweet Sixteen Picks
I don’t think Gonzaga has played well yet in this tournament, yet they have made the Sweet Sixteen. The Mountaineers played about as well as they could in the win over Notre Dame on Saturday and I don’t think they can repeat that performance against the Bulldogs. I expect the best game of the tourney for Gonzaga on Thursday, so I will lay the points.
