NFL Lock of the Week – Week 6
- Updated: October 13, 2012
The NFL Week 6 schedule is out and after scanning over the latest betting lines there is one game that stands out above the rest and that game is between the St. Louis Rams and the Miami Dolphins. Not only is this a strong nfl pick, it is the Lock for Week 6 in the NFL. The play is the Miami Dolphins to crush the St. Louis Rams.
The Rams come into this game after a win over the Arizona Cardinals, but the bad play of the Cardinals made the play of the Rams look good, especially on defense. The offensive line of the Cardinals is so bad that anyone can get to the quarterback, but when the Rams face the Dolphins they will face a much better offensive line that will give them troubles.
Sam Bradford will be lost without Danny Amendola who suffered a dislocated clavicle in the game against the Cardinals. Amendola was the safety outlet and go-to-guy for Bradford. Now Bradford will have to rely on new players in new positions to supply any offense. This will be a major problem for an offense that has had trouble getting started all year long.
The Rams are 15-36 ATS in their last 51 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous game, 2-10 ATS in the last 12 games on the NFL highway, and 1-7 ATS in the last eight games against a team with a losing record.
The Dolphins are flying under the radar but are a very talented team. They rank among the best in the NFL in rushing with Reggie Bush leading the way and the offensive line can protect the quarterback.
The Dolphins are 9-0 ATS when playing a team with a winning record and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games overall.
That trend will continue this week as the Dolphins bury the Rams as the NFL Lock of the Week.
