Javier Baez and the streaking Chicago Cubs are seeking their fifth win in a row when they play host to the San Francisco Giants at Wrigley Field. The opening pitch is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. ET and WGN will be airing this NL matchup.

San Francisco Giants at Chicago Cubs Odds

The Giants have gone 63-64 SU this year and are 65-61 against the spread (ATS). They’ve gained 13.2 units for gamblers taking the moneyline, despite having lost 12.1 units ATS. The Cubs, on the other hand, are 68-58 SU and 60-65 ATS. They’ve lost 3.9 units for bettors taking the moneyline and 4.7 units ATS.

Chicago’s hitters have produced 5.0 runs per contest, including 4.3 per game over its last 10 games and 5.6 per game over their last five. The team has hit .252/.354/.485 over its last five contests and is 4-1 SU during that stretch.

Javier Baez has helped lead the Cubs’ offense this year with 28 home runs, 82 RBIs, 84 runs and 10 stolen bases.

For the visitors, San Francisco’s pitchers have allowed 4.9 runs per game and its starters own a 4.85 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 8.24 K/9. The bullpen has an ERA of 3.98, along with a WHIP of 1.36 and a K/9 of 8.85.
