San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams Pick

San Francisco handled Los Angeles the last time these teams met, but the stakes are a little different in this contest. The 49ers are not in need of a victory, as they match up well against whoever their first-round opponent may be. For Los Angeles, they are looking for as many home games as they can possibly get in the playoffs, so look for them to put in a more significant effort to earn the victory in this game. Plus, it is hard to go against the team that is playing so well right now.

Pick: Take Los Angeles Rams at -6.5.

The Total:

These teams have gone under in four of the last five meetings, but Los Angeles is only going to win this game if they can put up some solid offensive numbers against the 49ers. The Rams have scored at least 30 points in three of their last five games and have gone over 20 in five straight contests. San Francisco has scored at least 23 in seven of their last eight games. No one should expect a huge offensive showcase, but 47 points would not be surprising.

Pick: Go over 44.5.
