The NBA action continues on Tuesday, February 14, with a five-game slate, and here you can check out the best Kings vs. Suns betting pick and odds.

Phoenix will open a three-game home stand when they host Sacramento at Footprint Center. The Kings are 3-point favorites on BetDSI Sportsbook, while the total is set at 234.5 points. These Pacific Division foes will meet for the second time this season; the Suns won 122-117 in Sacramento.

Kings edged the Mavericks in the second game of a back-to-back set

The Sacramento Kings (32-24, 30-25-1 ATS) returned home from a seven-game road trip on which they recorded four wins, including the last two over the Houston Rockets. After losing the opening game of a back-to-back home set against the Dallas Mavericks, the Kings responded with a 133-128 overtime win. Sacramento shot 51.0% from the field, and despite making only eight three-pointers opposite Dallas’ 20, the hosts forced 16 turnovers and committed just seven on the other end.

De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with a game-high 36 points, team five assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Terence Davis added 22 points, six boards, and two thefts, Domantas Sabonis posted a double-double of 22 points and game-high 14 rebounds, Kevin Huerter had a 15/8/5/2 line, while Trey Lyles contributed 14 points and six boards.

SG Malik Monk (ankle) and SF KZ Okpala (knee) are questionable to face Phoenix on Tuesday.

Suns beat the Pacers on the road

The Phoenix Suns (31-27, 31-27-0 ATS) spent the previous five games on the road, during which they secured four wins. Following a loss to the Atlanta Hawks, the Suns returned to winning ways with a 117-104 victory against the Indiana Pacers. Phoenix limited the hosts to 42.4% from the floor, and although the rivals were pretty tied in most key segments, the Suns did dominate the rebounds (53-38). The visitors had 19 offensive boards opposite Indiana’s 11.

Deandre Ayton led the Suns with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Devin Booker was right behind with 21 points, five assists, and four boards, Chris Paul added 19 points, team-high nine dishes, and two steals, Josh Okogie had 17 points, six rebounds, and game-high three thefts, while Torrey Craig registered a double-double of 11 points and game-high 12 boards.

SF Kevin Durant (knee), PG Cameron Payne (foot), and PG Landry Shamet (foot) are out indefinitely and will not play on Tuesday against the Kings.

Trends:

Sacramento:

  • 1-3-1 ATS in the last five games following an ATS win
  • 1-4 ATS in the last five games playing on two days of rest
  • 3-9-1 ATS in the last 13 games vs. a team with a winning straight-up record

Phoenix:

  • 9-4 ATS in the last 13 games overall
  • 5-2 ATS in the last seven home games
  • 8-3 ATS in the last 11 Tuesday games

Sacramento Kings vs. Phoenix Suns Pick

The Kings have the best offense in the NBA which averages 119.6 points per game, while Phoenix’s offense scores 112.7 ppg. This offense will be better when Kevin Durant returns to the floor, but at the moment, the Suns are relying more on their solid defense to win games. That said, the Suns are allowing 111.3 ppg, which is the fifth-best defense in the league. Sacramento’s defense is not even in the top 20 as the Kings surrender 117.1 ppg. The Suns won ten of the previous 13 games and I am backing them to open their three-game homestay with a W on Tuesday.

Pick: Take the Suns at -2.5 (-125)

The Total

I mentioned the Suns’ solid defense; they kept the opponents below 107 points in four of the last seven games. It’s going to be hard to limit the most prolific offense in the league, but Sacramento scored just 104 points in two of the last four games on the road, so there is a chance for the hosts. Under is 5-1 in the last six H2H meetings in Phoenix; Under is 15-6 in the Kings’ previous 21 road games, while Under is 4-1 in the Suns’ last five overall.Pick: Go Under 236.52 points (-130)
