I think this is a good spot for Old Dominion to pick up a rare win. It has been a tough year for the Monarchs as they are 3-23 on the season and after losing 20 of their first 22 games, the let go long time head coach Blaine Taylor but it is believed there is more to it than just a bad season as his history in Norfolk was outstanding. Old Dominion responded with a huge effort as it won at Drexel by 12 points as 12-point underdogs and then followed that up with two close losses, one by five points against Northeastern in overtime and the second by a bucket on the road at Delaware. The Monarchs are coming off a 12-point loss against William & Mary on Saturday but the opportunity is right to back them here. NC-Wilmington is coming off an upset win on Saturday as it defeated first place Northeastern by six points at home as a 4.5-point underdog so the Seahawks will be in letdown mode come Wednesday as they take to the road where it has been a nightmare season. They are 1-13 on the road this season with the lone win coming at Hofstra and for the entire season, the home team is 22-4 in NC-Wilmington's 26 games. It won the first meeting at home but it came by just five points so the Monarchs know they can play this team good enough to take care of business. The Seahawks are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games following an ATS win while Old Dominion is 9-4 ATS in its last 13 games against teams with a winning percentage below .400. Play (724) Old Dominion Monarchs

20* Big Ten GAME OF THE WEEK on Ohio State -5

The Ohio State Buckeyes should be a much bigger home favorite over the Minnesota Golden Gophers tonight. Both teams are struggling of late, but I like Ohio State's chances of snapping out of it better since it is playing at home tonight.

Both teams have lost three of their last four. However, Minnesota's losses have come to Iowa, Illinois and Michigan State, while Ohio State's losses have come against Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan with two of those on the road. That's why I'm much less worried about the Buckeyes' recent struggles rather than the Gophers. Minnesota really hasn't been playing well for quite some time now as it has lost seven of its last 10 games overall. This team is consistently overvalued.

Ohio State has really dominated this series in recent meetings. It has gone 5-0 SU & 4-1 ATS in its last five meetings with Minnesota. Four of those wins came by double-digits.

The Buckeyes are 13-2 at home this season where they are outscoring opponents by 18.4 points/game. The Gophers are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Buckeyes are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The favorite is 11-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings. The Buckeyes are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home meetings with the Gophers. Take Ohio State Wednesday.

15* Missouri Valley GAME OF THE NIGHT on Drake -4

The Drake Bulldogs will roll tonight over the Bradley Braves in Missouri Valley Conference action. Drake wants revenge from a 57-67 loss at Bradley on January 29th in their first meeting of the season. I look for them to get it tonight considering how poorly the Braves have played on the road this year.

Bradley is 3-7 in true road games this season. In fact, it is 0-6 SU & 1-5 ATS in its last 6 road games in MVC play, losing by double-digits each time. Its road losses over this span include Indiana State (53-68), Northern Iowa (53-84), Evansville (56-66), Wichita State (39-73), Creighton (58-75) and Illinois State (59-79).

Drake comes in hungry for a win following four straight losses to tough competition in Illinois State, Evansville, Wichita State and Northern Iowa. It's not like the Bulldogs are playing that bad either as three of the four losses came by single digits. Drake is 7-5 at home this season which includes impressive wins over Evansville (83-69), Creighton (74-69) and Indiana State (74-71).

Drake is 9-1 ATS after having lost 5 or 6 of their last 7 games over the last 3 seasons. It is coming back to win in these spots by an average of 9.0 points/game. The Braves are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss. Bet Drake Wednesday.

15* Kansas/Oky State ESPN Wednesday No-Brainer on Kansas +1

The Kansas Jayhawks are going to be highly motivated for revenge tonight. They lost their only home game of the season to these same Oklahoma State Cowboys by a final of 80-85 on February 2nd. I look for these Kansas players to want this game more than any other game they have played this season because of it.

Oklahoma State is one of the most overrated teams in the country. It has simply been getting all of the breaks in close games of late. Four of its last six wins have come by 5 points or less. It won't be so fortunate tonight.

Bill Self is 16-7 ATS revenging a straight up loss vs opponent as a favorite as the coach of Kansas. The Jayhawks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 20 points. The Cowboys are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The road team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings. Roll with Kansas Wednesday.

LT Profits

Yes, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are 25-2 and are now ranked third in the polls and sixth in the Pomeroy Ratings, but they have been pummeling mostly the weaker teams of the WCC en route to a 12-0 conference mark and they now face one of the better ones in the Santa Clara Broncos. The Broncos are 19-8 this season and they played the Zags tough in an 81-74 loss in Santa Clara last month. The Broncos were able to hang tough despite going an uncharacteristic 7-for-23 for just 30.4 percent from beyond the three-point line, as this is a team that gets 32.7 percent of its points on three-point shots as opposed to 24.3 percent for Gonzaga, so there is no reason why Santa Clara cannot hang around again with a more normal shooting night. Santa Clara is 7-2 ATS in its last nine road games vs. teams with winning home records.

Pick: Santa Clara +13½

The Cal Poly Mustangs travel to Cal State Fullerton to take on the Titans on Wednesday night. Cal Poly comes in with a 12-11 SU record this year while Cal State Fullerton is now 12-13 SU overall this season. Cal State Fullerton is 11-3 ATS last 3 years against good defensive teams allowing 64 points per game or less. Cal Poly is 2-10 SU on the road this year where they are scoring only 60 points per game.

Cal State Fullerton is scoring 80.5 points per game overall this year and 78.3 points per game at home this season. Cal Poly is 5-14-1 ATS last 20 road games. Cal Poly is 3-10-1 ATS last 14 road games against a team with a non-losing home record. Cal State Fullerton is 5-1-1 ATS last 7 home games after three or more consecutive road games.

Cal Poly is 1-5 ATS last 6 meetings overall in this series. We’ll play Cal State Fullerton for 3 units tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky
