John Fox - Master of the Half-time adjustment?

Last night was somewhat of an exaggerated microcosm of the Broncos season....

Denver has been outscored in the first half 98-42
They have outscored their opponents in the second half 128-40

They have led at halftime only once 10-6 vs. Oakland where they mauled them 27-0 in the second half afterwards...they have not lost a second half yet, with only one tie 14-14 vs. New England...

So do Fox and Manning suck at game preparation all week, yet in the 20 minute half time they are brilliant???

I don't normally bet halves but I'm guessing you would have made a mint so far going against the Broncos in the first half and going with them in the second the big question is what happens going forward? are the books going to start adjusting the lines and can they do it enough? Does the team start reverting to a more normal game where the scores aren't as crazy like that?

How can we exploit this for big cash????

One thing that remains is whether on the road or playing in the Mile High thin air, anytime you have Peyton Manning at the helm expect to see higher scoring outcomes. Even after last night Denver is averaging just over 28 ppg while giving up 23, most notably due to getting off to slow starts with last night being no exception. I can't see much of a line adjustment based on the regular standings to the sides but expect game totals they participate in to remain well above the 40's, as the over is now 5-1 so far in their games.

And would you look at this? After this week's bye their next game is at home to New Orleans. That total should open at least at 56 and probably climb as kickoff nears.

seems like den under Fox the last 2 season are a totally different team in the 2nd half and mostly the 4th
Tebow was the comeback kid last year and Manning is doing the same thing

well id think that the over unders might be raised a little..its still gonna be made by avg's of whats been going on....and the halftimes wont be diff at all...they wont have a total of like lets say 22 for 1st half and if they dont do much it wont be like 30 because of past nor will denvers line if they are + 3 1sy half vs n.o. and the score is 13-13 at half, denver wont be -6 in 2nd half cause they always outscore opponents alot in 2nd half.. it will be based on how its based 151rum p.s. interesting thoughts

You’ve got to get to the stage in life where going for it is more important than winning or losing.

Is John Fox the master of H-T adjustment?

Or is Norv Turner incapable making adjustments that counter opposition coaches adjustments?
