So for the first time in it's 18 year history all 4 division series go to a decisive game 5. Jayson Werth's walkoff solo HR in the bottom of the 9th extended the dream for the Washington Nationals who edged St. Louis 2-1, while (much of course to my dismay and to Ryan and Spooky's satisfaction) JJ Hardy's RBI double in the top of the 13th edged the Yanks 2-1 setting up a game 5 this afternoon.

Thursday afternoon San Francisco behind a grand slam from Buster Posey completed a 3 game road sweep of Cincinnati and took their NLDS 3-2. Justin Verlander pitched a 4 hit shutout as Detroit blanked JB and Spooky's Oakland A's 6-0 winning their ALDS 3-2. Who wins this afternoon and evening and who packs it up for the winter heading south to the golf courses? I have to believe it is going to be the Yankees and Washington. Let's hear your thoughts.

Have to agree with the Doc although St. Louis winning certainly wouldn't be a shocker and the Yanks are just Ibanez away from scoring 2 runs in thier last what - 25 innings?

Should be a fun day!

St Louis is always a tough team to knock out they just somehow find a way to stay in it but i think Washington puts em away tonight.

Yanks are due to break out with the bats and what better time , Yanks Win !
