NEW ORLEANS (AP)- If you like the Yankees, you'd better get on the Kentucky bandwagon. The Wildcats (37-2) play in Monday night's NCAA CBB National Championship game against Kansas (32-6). Since 1949, a Kentucky championship always has forecast a NY Yankee world Series victory.

Kentucky has won seven national titles. The last 6 (1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998) all came as the Bombers embarked on a World Series championship drive. "I think the Yankees have to be rooting for us," said coach Calipari, who attended a couple of Yankee games at the Stadium last season, "Look at the history."

I remember seeing that....very interesting coincidence....

right now the Yankees are +575 to win the World Series at DSI....it will be interesting to see if enough money comes in following a KY win tonight to move that number down some....
