Horse to look out for............

Gary Contessa is a New York based horse trainer. A friend of mine knows him well and he follows the ponies with great detail.
Contessa is training a horse named Uncle Sigh. Came in second his first time out and then won his next race by 15 lengths. He is out of Indian Charlie (run all day) and Pine Bluff on the other side of the breeding chart.
After the race was over Contessa texted my friend and said "we really have something here.......could be a date in May."
He showed me the text.

The horse is being aimed for the Withers stakes, Grade 3 race held at Aqueduct. He does well in that he will be entered for a another graded race.

Having a 2 turn race under your belt is big, winning by 15 lengths is HUGE for any horse, but a 2 year old second time out it very impressive. Buyer was a 109. We shall see how the horse holds up against stiffer competition next time out.

Never to early to get a Kentucky Derby future wager in. HA!!!
