2-4 losing 4.80 units this weekend. I will update my record after tonights game.
San Diego -3 vs. Kansas City (three unit best bet)…………..KC is a little better than people thought, while San Diego is no where near as good as everybody thought. Time to right the ship. After seeing St Louis beat New Oleans and Arizona nearly beat Baltimore, I don’t look for San Diego to take KC very lightly. I think we will see the real teams show up tonight. Look for Phillip Rivers to have a break out game and lead the Chargers to an easy victory.
Over 44½ San Diego/Kansas City (three unit best bet)…….I love the over in this game. If I am right about my San Diego play, this game will fly over the total. San Diego might get close to this total all by themselves. San Diego always finds way of giving up points, so they won’t have to do it all by themselves. I usually don’t play many totals, but I really like this one.
I can tell you right now I am going 2-0 or 0-2 tonight. Hopefully 2-0.
I really like the over tonight and I am leaning towards San Diego tonight as well. This past weekend had to be the worst weekend I've had in a long time - so hopefully tonight will start me on a winning track.
I think my plays go hand in hand. Chargers if they win will come out firing on all cylinders and the points will just keep on coming. He SD loses it will be because Rivers plays badly and KC shuts them down and wins a low scoring game. Good Luck to us.
The only thing that scares me here with the over, is the fact that it's MNF, and historically Monday night games go UNDER...and I am talking a huge percentage of the time.
Here's a few other stats for you:
Total (44): Under has hit in five straight home games for Todd Haley’s troops; over 19-6-2 Chargers’ last 27 as road chalk.
San Diego is 4-9-1 ATS in its last 14 games when playing on the road against Kansas City
The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Kansas City's last 12 games
SAN DIEGO at KANSAS CITY
SAN DIEGO: 29-15 Over as road favorite
KANSAS CITY: 9-2 ATS off road game
San Diego Chargers (-3.5) at Kansas City Chiefs
Why Chargers cover: Snatched defeat from jaws of victory last week at Jets, so should be plenty riled up against AFC West rival. Chiefs blew out Raiders on road last week 28-0, but K.C. doesn’t follow up well on such routs – 1-4 ATS last five after win of more than 14 points.
Why Chiefs cover: Home team and home fans surely amped up for “Monday Night Football” appearance. Have beaten bookies four straight games, starting by cashing as huge 14½-point dog at San Diego in 20-17 loss. Plus, Chargers and Arrowhead not exactly like pizza and beer, with Bolts just 4-9-1 ATS last 14 trips to Kansas City
If it wasn't for sports, I'd have nothing look forward to
On Monday night the free NFL Totals play is on the over in the Chargers at Chiefs game. Rotation numbers 231/232 at 8:35 eastern. The Chargers have gone over the total in 7 of 8 when the line is +3 to -3, 7 of 8 on the road if the line is 42.5 to 45 and 7 of their lost 10 on October games. In the first game these two played under scoring 37 points in a game where KC had 31 yards with 2 first downs in the first half. This one figures to me higher scoring tonight. Look for this one to play over the total.
I gotta agree with SD -3.5 and the overs at 43.5.
Cassel may not be a 4500 yard a season guy but he has good weapons in Bowe and Breaston and two backs averaging 5 yards per carry.
Rivers has got both Jackson and Gates available aswell as Floyd and Matthews running at 4.6 per carry.
Rivers breaks out here and Kansas get joy on the ground with a few important passing plays.
I hope that all come true anyway!
Also this is my first post everyone so Hello guys!
Horrible officiating tonight. Offensive pass interference call against Gates changes first half score from 10-10 to 13-3.
Officials need to lay off the pass interference calls, especially in the red zone when making that call changes the outcome of the game. I saw a couple of similar calls this weekend, don't remember which team but I recall a 3rd & long in the red zone that got a questinable pass interference call that resulted in 1st down inside the 5 yard line. That call should not be made unless it's absolutely blatant pass interference.
