LIVE FROM THE SPOOKY EXPRESS, YOUR NFL WEEKLY UPDATE
Spooky Express Quick Bites for Thursday...
-- The Dodgers stayed alive beating the Cardinals 6-4. L.A. trails 3 games to 2 with Game 6 tomorrow night in St. Louis.
-- The Tigers evened their series with the Red Sox at 2 games apiece, winning 7-3. Game 5 is tonight in Detroit.
-- Knicks star Carmelo Anthony says he wants to opt out of his contract and become a free agent next summer.
-- Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was fined $10,500 by the NFL for wearing green football shoes to promote Mental Health Awareness Week. Marshall says it was well worth it to promote awareness.
-- Many of us are big fans of gambling, and I wholeheartedly endorse this one. 15 years ago Peter Edwards bet 50 pounds that his 18-month-old grandson would one day play soccer for Wales. He got 2500-1 odds. His grandson, Harry Wilson, stepped onto the field the other night in a World Cup qualifier against Belgium. Harry, at 16, not only became the youngest player to ever represent Wales, he made his grandfather 125-thousand pounds richer. Grandpa is an electrical contractor and told his manager if Harry got into the game he was immediately retiring. G-O-O-A-L!!
Lets get this started with a few plays and will stop by with a couple more. All the picks are posted at the Spooky Express website.
TENNESSEE TITANS / SAN FRANCISCO 49ers OVER 40 POINTS
PITTSBURGH STEELERS / BALTIMORE RAVENS OVER 40 POINTS
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS +9
DETROIT LIONS PK
DENVER BRONCOS -5
I really believe the Broncos line will keep shooting up as the day goes on so getting a good price now and may have a great shot at a big middle if you choose to buy up as I bought down. Strong leans to Patriots, Falcons and Eagles.
