We dropped our seconds straight game on Saturday to fall to a combined 22-9 for the season, as the correction process may be kicking in a bit. Our winning percentage was simply too high to be sustained over the long haul.

The players will have a good two-week sprint until those coveted three days off, which means that the schedule will be condensed a bit for some teams over the next two weeks.
Unfortunately, our evening didn’t get much better as we needed the Jets to pull out that overtime in Tampa Bay for a winning day but Brayden Point’s beautiful goal ended our hopes there. Overall it was a disappointing 2-4 day for a little over two units lost. I was encouraged by several things though and felt the board was read pretty well so we’ll look to get it going on a lazy Sunday with a small four-game card.
