Oregon is coming off of a 24-10 win over Oregon State. The defensive unit allowed the Beavers to run for 137 yards on 34 rush attempts, along with one rushing TD. Jermar Jefferson had a productive showing in the defeat for Oregon State, recording 81 rushing yards and a score on 20 attempts. For Oregon, Justin Herbert completed 18-of-30 passes for 174 yards and one touchdown. CJ Verdell (50 rushing yards on 15 attempts) and Travis Dye (91 yards on 12 carries) spearheaded the ground game in the win as Jaylon Redd (five receptions, 34 yards) and Johnny Johnson III (four catches, 39 yards, one TD) led the pass-catching corps.

Utah has run the ball on 65.9 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Oregon has a rush percentage of 52.4 percent.
